Better Late Than Never! {Preggo Post, 20 wks}

Sooo in case anyone missed it on facebook we're pregnant with number 2! We waited a while to tell everyone because we like to get through the first trimester before we announce anything...It's been a rough pregnancy compared to my last to say the least, i've been way more sick with this one than Joshua...which led me to think the whole time it was a girl and a few weeks ago we found out low and behold it is a GIRL!! We couldn't be more excited for this little girl and for Joshua to be her big brother :) We always knew we'd want a little girl to complete our family, we are so blessed! Last week we got to see this at the 20 week ultrasound, she was doing flips nonstop (clearly my child) and our sweet girl gave us a little smile...

all her organs looked perfect and everything measured right on track, heartbeat in the 150's same as usu...I know i won't remember to do it every week, but for memory keepsake I'll try to keep up with these preggo posts as best I can!

How far along? 
20 weeks, halfway there!

Total weight gain/loss: Up total of 10 @ last week's appt, (Trying to keep it under 35 pounds, gained 50 with J oops!)

 Maternity clothes? Nope.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Best moment this week: Seeing our baby girl on ultrasound.

Miss anything: In this insane heart, a nice cold beer or margarita i sure do miss...although watching my hubs drinking one even turns me off!...Oh and being able to breathe, as of the 2nd trimester my nose is soo super stuffy!

Movement: I feel kicks every day! Started feeling them at 17 weeks, and since last week hubby can feel the kicks too, they're always pretty low!

  Food cravings: Same as from beginning...potatoes, potatoes, and more potatoes...grapefruit, pineapple and red meat, and my biggest craving...GYROS mmmm!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Mexican and chinese blahh...although mexican is ok sometimes, i sure do miss it since i used to eat it at least twice a week!

Have you started to show yet: Yep! Although i'm carrying so much lower with her than J! Low and compact this go round...i feel like he was up much higher!

  Gender: A GIRL!! :)

Labor Signs: No!

  Belly Button in or out?  Very out! 

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy...esp. now that i'm back to the land of the living!

Looking forward to: Our next appointment! 

4 Years

Four years ago today I married high school sweetheart and love of my life! I feel so blessed to have found him so young, and we have had 11 amazing years together, 4 of them as a married couple, and one amazing child...I am so thankful to have such an incredible man in my life...Happy Anniversary to my hubby Chris, I love you and I look forward to all the years and adventures we have ahead of us!

"grow old with me, the best is yet to be"

2 1/2!

I can't believe my little man is 2 1/2, I am loving every single minute of this fun age! I wish I could freeze time and keep him like this forever! He is a ball of energy like his mama and he sure keeps me movin'!
Here is what the little man is up to!

He is a nonstop talker, he can pretty much say anything and everything now and his cute little mouth never stops moving!

His favorite thing to do now is bounce on our trampoline outside! He and daddy bounce out there all weekend!

He has a smile that lights up a room!

He is in size 3 clothes!

His very favorite foods right now are pancakes, cheeseburgers, blueberries, mashed potatoes, turkey sandwiches, pizza, bananas, and of course mac n' cheese!

He says his prayers every night and at the end always says "and I love you Jesus", yes it melts me heart.

He is really loving playing soccer...definitely going to get him playing as soon as they'll let us!

He can count to 20, skipping maybe 1 or 2 of the numbers every now and then!

His hair is still white blonde!

He is a little fish, he loves everything water..he jumped right into the ocean and started splashing and swimming! Excited to start his swim lessons at my in-laws pool this summer!

Why does he look so old here??

He's still sleepin' like a champ, 8 to 8 every day!

His favorite show these days is Jake and the Neverland Pirates and The Fresh Beat Band!

He loves painting and drawing!

He loves wrestling with his daddy every day when he gets home from work!

He still has chubby cheekers and silly cheese smile!

He is so kind hearted, always telling everyone he loves them and giving hugs and kisses!

He loves chocolate milk!

He lovess going to the park, Piedmont is his fav!

He loves loves his bath time!

He is really loving playing out on his water table these days!

And he starts preschool in 4 short months, not ready to share him!!

He is an angel boy and I'm so blessed that I get to call him mine and spend every day watching him blossom!

It's only getting more and more fun with age! Happy 2 1/2 sweet boy!

Easter 2012.

Easter this year was so much fun for Joshua!...he really understood that the Easter bunny was coming and going to bring him a basket full of goodies...he kept saying "mommy, where Easter bunny go?"...we headed over to STM for a wonderful Mass with my mom and step-dad (note we went to the kids mass and Joshua had a little meltdown along with every other kid in there)...but we still made it through the whole thing! Then we enjoyed brunch with my mom and step-dad and then headed over to my in-laws like we do every year for a kids Easter egg hunt and dinner...the holidays are just getting more and more fun every year :)

beach fun & two weeks from home.

So we are finally back home and settled in after 2 weeks away, so much fun but we sure are happy to be home...we got back from the beach last thursday and then our house was in the middle of getting painted (our entire downstairs and trim)...needless to say it was pretty smelley, so we stayed over at my in-laws from last thursday until yesterday...it sure is nice to finally be home and settled in and not living out of our suitcases...our house was so nice to come home to freshly painted and all warm and pretty! I'll post pics of the new paint and Easter soon!

The beach trip was an absolute blast..the little man sure was in complete heaven, he ran out from our room onto the beach every morn to splash int he waves..can't wait to go back next year and continue our tradition of going with my dad and fam the week before Easter...here are some pics of our fun trip to Vero Beach!

My sweet hubby left me this on the coffee maker this morning...

I had told him one of my Pinterest finds called the "I Love You Because" board a few weeks ago that I wanted to make for us...and so he did this..
