Ready For Fall!
This fam is definitely ready for some fall weather! I keep getting excited when we have weekends like this weekend with a high of 75 and breeze, sadly shortly followed by crazy heat the next week!..I'm so ready for fall weather to come and STAY!..I love all things fall; Macintosh Spice Yankee Candles, jeans, long sleeves, leaves, apple cider, cinnamon, firepits, pumpkins..oh the list could go on and on! So ready to say goodbye to this heat and hello to fall! Yesterday I decided to go ahead and bust out our fall decor even though it's not really screaming fall outside...It made me happy just putting them up so our house could feel all fall and cozy...now hurry up fall weather! :)

Joshua's Big Boy Room Reveal!
I am finally done with Joshua's new big boy room! I never thought the day would come when we had to pack the crib away, sad! But he is loving his new room so much and we are sooo happy with how i turned out! :)
We got him the Catalina PBKids bed...it was on sale when we were looking and we loved that it can be put on a higher and lower setting..so for now it's great for him as a toddler to easily climb in and out..we are just loving it! He took to it great from day one thank goodness!
So, for the creation of the room...It all started with this quilt and shams from Pottery Barn Kids...
I always start a room with an inspiration piece and this was it..I just LOVE the colors in it and sports, well of course! Joshua is in love with everything "Bay Ball"..so for the son of man who played and is obsessed with baseball, the decision was easy haha..sports and baseball theme it is! Plus we figured this will be a great room for him to grow with for years and years to come!
Love this little baseball lamp with the bat as the base!
Then from here we decided that the bedding was colorful enough, and as much as I've loved his baby blue walls they sadly had to go...So we found the perfect color match for the beige in the bedding with Benjamin Moore's "Shaker Beige" from the PBKids fall color collection. It is just a great boy color that will grow with him for years to come! So beige it was, and our painter (who i feel like was just here painting the nursery like it was yesterday tear) painted away the blue!
Then came the sign..and this has to be my favorite part of the whole room! I am just in love this sign! I just happened to stumble upon when searching for baseball decor and it works so great in there over his bed, and the personalization was so cute! It was a must!
So then, I decided to pull red for an accent color and bought red blackout curtains from PBKids, and had curtain ties made from a pillow case of the same sheets from his bedding to add a pop of color...and I found this adorable swivel baseball chair and just had to get it...he sits in it reading his books at nap time it's so sweet...
We repainted his bookshelf and shelf that were previously white, red... Joshua can't go without his books he loves them so much! The pendant clock was his godfather's from when he was a kid given to him as a gift for his first birthday!
And then we added Daddy's old baseball trophies to the shelf, along with Daddy's St. Pius baseball hat on the peg rack!
And then from there, it was just adding baseball decor here and there..I found some really cute vintage baseball stuff from Hobby Lobby, best store ever! Haha i really do love this store, it is my go to for decor! Every thing I got there was 50% off at the time, gotta love that!
This is eventually going to be a wall of picture frames under the decal but for now this is all we can do because Joshua was pulling off all the picture frames he could reach, little bugger!
And Etsy is wonderful too for cute kids decor, found a few cute things there like the baseball peg rack!
These cute little baseball knobs on his dresser were from hobby lobby...
It was SO much fun creating this sports room for my little man, and i can't wait for him to grow with it! :)
